About CRICBT
The Cedar Rapids / Iowa City Building Trades Council represents eighteen building trade unions in the Cedar Rapids / Iowa City corridor. Each trade union provides skilled workers for building construction projects (commercial and residential) throughout the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City corridor and surrounding communities.
Union workers are highly skilled professionals who uphold a long-standing commitment to bettering their communities. In exchange for this commitment, they receive education and training, fair wages, health and welfare benefits, pensions, and the pride of knowing that their skills will remain in high demand.
And the community then receives skilled workers who are treated well, and are committed to getting a job done right.
